About Enterprise Client Management

Enterprise Client Management Services (ECM) provides System Management Server (SMS) tools for delegated administration of departmental machines. SMS for desktop administrators provides:
1) Remote control for troubleshooting clients from the SMS Administrator Console when a user is present at the remote machine.
2) Security Patch Management which includes vulnerability identification featuring inventory tools for both the operating system and Microsoft office updates, as well as web reporting tools for missing patch identity and patch deployment tools to deploy required patches to managed devices.
3) Application deployment that allows you to automate installation of specific applications to targeted machines.
4) Asset tracking to monitor both software and hardware inventory.

ECM also provides Citrix application deployment services available via the Web. We currently provide access to Microsoft Outlook for Macintosh users as well as access to applications such as SAS. This allows users to access these programs from anywhere at anytime through the ITS Citrix web portal.
